| The Body Shop: Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly & Coconut Hand Cream |
This Christmas I treated myself with two products from The Body Shop: the Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly and the Coconut Hand Cream because I like pampering myself with nice, sweet scents during the winter. I was already familiar with the coconut range as I used it before and the Coconut Body Butter was my favorite for years.
Anul acesta am încercat să-mi înfrumusețez (sau mai bine zis înmiresmez) Crăciunul cu două produse The Body Shop: Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly și crema de mâini cu aromă de cocos, fiindcă iarna îmi place să mă răsfăț cu produse ce au un miros mai dulce. Gama cu cocos îmi era familiară de acum câțiva ani, când untul de corp din această gamă era "my all time favorite".

Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly is a limited edition bath product which produces “rich clouds of indulgent bubbles”, as The Body Shop says on the official website. And I can prove it produces a lot of foam, it's amazing, look at this picture (welcome to my bath!):
Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly este ediție limitată și promite să ofere spumă bogată. Iată și dovada că produce incredibil de multă spumă (bine ați venit în baia mea!):
In the pot, the jelly smells deliciously sweet, reminding me of the vanilla puddings I used to eat years ago and I have to say I am a sweet gourmand scents' addict. I often find myself opening the lid to sniff the jelly. This one along with Lancome "La Vie Est Belle" perfume are by far my favorite scents this winter.
Now, onto the texture: the texture resembles that of a thick, sticky pudding and I find it kind of difficult to use. I get a handful of Vanilla Brulee jelly and keep it under the running warm water, but part of the jelly slips through my fingers. Then I try to find the lost “bits”:) in the water and get them under the running water once again. Then I'm done!
În recipient, jeleul miroase extrem de delicios! Îmi amintește de budinca de vanilie, iar eu sunt "dependentă" de aromele gurmande. Așa că ce credeți că fac toată ziua: mă duc în baie, deschid capacul și trag pe nas :). Acesta, împreună cu parfumul Lancome "La Vie Est Belle", sunt aromele cu care mă "droghez" iarna asta :)). Mă mir că nu mi se face rău de la atâta dulce!
Să trecem la textură: și textura îmi amintește tot de budincă, doar că este mai lipicioasă și recunosc că mi se pare cam greu de folosit. Iau direct cu mâna din borcănel, apoi țin pumnul semi-desfacut sub apa care curge. Din păcate, o parte din jeleu îmi scapă printre degete, așa că purced la a-l căuta prin cadă, apoi îl țin din nou sub apa care curge până reușesc să-l dizolv pe tot.

The bubbles are nice, long lasting and relaxing (I like playing with the foam) but there is no scent in the tub whatsoever, which is kind of disappointing. Have I mentioned that the smell is the reason I wanted this bath jelly so much? One good idea would be to take a bath and keep the open pot under my nose :)).
Overall, the bubble bath experience is a nice, relaxing one because of the rich, dense foam, but I am longing for the gorgeous smell that the Vanilla Brulle Bath Jelly has in the pot.
The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Bath Jelly oferă o spumă extrem de bogată, ce persistă mult timp în cadă, spumă ce pe mine mă relaxează foarte mult (îmi place să fac băi lungi și să mă joc cu spuma, ca un copil mic). Din păcate, din momentul în care introduc jeleul în apă, nu mai simt nici un miros, iar lucrul acesta mă dezamăgește. Am menționat deja că aroma e cea mai importantă pentru mine și de aceea mi l-am dorit? Ca ultimă soluție, aș putea să fac baie și să țin recipientul fără capac sub nas :).
Per total, este un produs relaxant prin spuma bogată pe care o face, dar mie personal îmi lipsește aroma de budincă de vanilie pe care o are în recipient.

I find The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream really efficient. It is a light cream and it does a good job at moisturizing dry hands without leaving a greasy feeling. It has a strong tropical Coconut scent; though I like this kind of smell during winter, I sometimes still find this one a little overpowering.
Cremele de mâini de la The Body Shop sunt foarte eficiente, iar aceasta nu face excepție. Este usoară, hidratează bine pielea fără a lăsa senzația de mâini unsuroase. Miroase a cocos (evident), iar dacă vă plac mirosurile foarte dulci, produsul acesta cu siguranță vă va îndulci iarna. Mie îmi plac, totuși mirosul cremei mi se pare cam pronunțat câteodată, am momente când îmi place și momente când simt că trebuie să mă spăl pe mâini (mai rare, ce-i drept).
The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream contains Shea butter, Babassu Oil and Soy Oil and it does not contain triclosan. I haven't had sore, cracked skin this winter though, if this happens I will update the post to tell you the results.
The packaging seems small (30 ml.), but a tiny amount is enough to offer nourishment to your hands for weeks.
The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream conține unt de shea, ulei de Babassu și ulei de soia. Nu conține triclosan.
