My Holy Grail for Dry Itchy Scalp: The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

Today I will be reviewing The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is a flake clearing, scalp soothing shampoo with refreshing ginger extract, suitable for a dry/flaky scalp. It gently clears and helps prevent flakes with regular use, also conditions hair. It contains honey and panthenol.

Astazi vreau sa va vorbesc putin despre Samponul cu Extract de Ghimbir Impotriva Matretii de la The Body Shop (The body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo).

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff este un sampon ce ajuta la eliminarea matretii si la calmarea mancarimii/iritatiei provocare de matreata. Asa cum spuneam, contine extract de ghimbir, ingredient eficient in cazul unui scalp uscat/cu matreata. Curata delicat si previne aparitia matretii daca este utilizat regulat, avand totodata rol de conditioner. Contine, printre altele, miere si pantenol.

My opinion:

Lately I've been battling with a resistant itchy scalp no matter how many products I tried. The only one that has really worked for me is this shampoo, although I previously tried Ducray (Kelual DS worked for a while), Vichy, La Roche-Posay. None of them was really efficient. Although I was skeptical when I bought it, I finished the bottle with great results and recently bought another bottle. I decided to give this a try because of the positive reviews I found online (I was desperate to find a really efficient anti-itching/anti-dandruff shampoo) and I am glad I did, it is now my HOLY GRAIL shampoo for my itchy scalp...no more itchiness for me!!! When I finished the first bottle I tried my husband's Head & Shoulders Menthol and guess what? My itchiness was instantly back!

In ultimul timp m-am confruntat cu mancarimi ale scalpului de care nu mai stiam cum sa scap, nici un produs nu reusea sa faca fata. Desi am incercat produse cumparate in farmacie, gen Ducray (Kelual DS a fost eficient pana la un moment dat), Vichy, La Roche-Posay, doar acesta de la The Body Shop mi s-a parut intr-adevar eficient, chiar exceptional! Desi eram cam sceptica atunci cand l-am cumparat, am folosit o sticluta de 250 ml. cu rezultate evidente si acum am achizitionat-o pe a doua. M-am hotarat sa-l cumpar dupa ce am tot cautat pe net ce produse sunt cu adevarat eficiente fiindca eram deja disperata, iar acesta era cotat foarte bine. Ma bucur ca l-am descoperit, este cel mai bun in ceea ce priveste scalpul iritat (cel putin in cazul meu) … am scapat de mancarimi!!! Cand mi s-a terminat prima sticluta, am incercat sa folosesc varianta mai ieftina, adica samponul Head & Shoulders Menthol al sotului. Guess what? Dupa prima utilizare, mancarimile au revenit instant! 

 

I also had minor dandruff which it is now gone. It lathers pretty well and leaves my hair soft and manageable which I like. The only thing I don't really like is the ginger scent, it's not bad or overpowering, but I prefer sweet, fruity scents. Anyway, the results are more important than a fruity scent:)...And I'm sure lots of people don't like sweet scents. If you use a conditioner, the hair retains the conditioner's scent anyway.

Give this a try, it could be your holy grail shampoo too! I am now eager to try more products from The Body Shop, especially that most of them smell sooo nice, I love to visit their shop! I would love to try the new Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil, a hair conditioner but I think I will start with the Concealer All-in-One. They also have SLS-free shampoo, I might give this a try in the future.

I highly recommend this shampoo if you have dry, itchy scalp!

Ma confruntam si cu putina matreata, dar a disparut si aceea. Face spuma destula si imi lasa parul moale si usor de aranjat, lucru care ma incanta si mai mult. Singurul lucru care nu e chiar pe placul meu este aroma de ghimbir, nu miroase urat sau prea puternic, dar as fi preferat un miros mai feminin, mai dulce-fructat. Oricum, rezultatele sunt mai importante decat un miros fructat:)...si sunt sigura ca multe persoane nu suporta mirosurile dulci. Daca folositi conditioner/masca la final, oricum parul va fi impregnat cu mirosul ultimului produs aplicat.

Va recomand sa il incercati, sunt sanse foarte mari sa fie solutia salvatoare si pentru voi! Eu sunt acum hotarata sa incerc si alte produse The Body Shop, mai ales ca unele miros atat de placut, de multe ori intru in magazinul lor din mall fara a avea nimic de cumparat, doar sa-mi incant simturile:). Imi doresc noul serum de fata Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil si un balsam pentru par, dar cred ca voi incepe cu anticearcanul All-in-One. 

 

Recomand cu mana pe inima acest sampon daca aveti un scalp iritat, cu matreata!

UPDATE: There is still some dandruff, it won't go away. It works perfectly for itchy scalp but not for dandruff.
Matreata nu a disparut totusi. Este eficient in ceea ce priveste iritatia scalpului, dar nu face fata cu brio matretii.
