*Try before you buy - Beauteque's Sample Bag [review]

Beauteque is a new U.S. based online store that sells mainly Asian makeup and skincare products as well as inexpensive jewelries and tools. They have a great looking site where you can find brands like Etude House, Holika Holika, Innisfree, Lioele, Skin79, Missha, Nature Republic, My Beauty Diary, Skin Food, The Face Shop, Tony Moly and more. I got some products from them all the way from New Jersey, U.S. and I was impressed with their fast delivery, as well as with their customer service, they seem such nice people!

Keep your eyes on them, ever since they started they had great promotions. For instance, Beauteque had a promotion offering free sample bags like the one that I got but the demand was so high that they were left out of stock. In case you don't know, Asian skincare products, especially the Korean ones, are growing in popularity lately. Today I will start by showing you what I got in my sample bag and next week I will review the skincare products that I received. So, here is the content of my sample bag:

1. The Face Shop EXO K Chia Seed Moisture-Holding Seed Cream

It is a moisturizing cream that hydrates skin with its refreshing water drops that bust the moment they touch the skin. It leaves a comfortable protective film made from chia seeds which absorbs moisture 10 times its own weight and chamomile provides immediate hydration and soothe dry and reddened skin. Instead of water, this cream contains 100% chia seed extract. 
 

My opinion: I find this cream really moisturizing and calming, I was afraid that chia seeds extract might irritate my sensitive skin but luckily it didn't. The consistency is actually that of a thick, transparent gel and I find it perfect for my normal - oily skin. It smells delicate, fresh and natural. The protective film that it leaves on the skin is a little sticky but nothing to worry about, it feels comfortable to wear. I really like it, I would definitely buy the full version especially that I have the full version of Chia Seed Essence from The Face Shop and use it every day. I find it perfect for my sensitive skin and I think it's a great product for all skin types, especially for dehydrated, dull skin. It does not leave a greasy layer on the skin.
 

2. The Face Shop Mango Seed Silk Moisturizing Facial Butter

It contains extracts from Sudan’s mango for long lasting radiance and moisturization. 100% mango seed butter is used to moisturize skin for 36 hours. Product contains glycerine, feels cool against the skin, and has a wrinkle defying effect for a silky finish.
 

My opinion: It is a cream for dry skin with a thicker, buttery consistency which leaves skin soft, radiant and intensely nourished. It feels too heavy for my skin though (normal with greasy T-zone).

3. Lioele Multi Seaweed Gel

It has more than 90% of seaweed extracts to calm irritated and sensitive skin. It contains intensive amount of Coenzyme Q10 to help prevent skin lose it's elasticity from gravity. Hydrates and calm skin leaving skin smooth and healthy. 
 

My opinion: I really need this Lioele Multi Seaweed Gel for the summer months! It is lightweight but packed with active ingredients for a tired, dehydrated skin. Seaweed is packed with vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids that are essential in maintaining healthy and youthful skin. This gel has calming properties which are great for my sensitive skin. I fell in love with it, it feels so light and moisturizing, now I understand the reason it is a bestseller! It can also be used on the dry parts of the body. And last but not least, I like it cause it has the same main ingredient as the most expensive cream in the world, Creme de la Mer:).

4. Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream

Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream is Lioele’s best selling BB cream because it is a long-lasting, full coverage tinted moisturizer that keeps the skin smooth while controlling the oil on your face. It also helps create a clean and natural look. Ingredients such as bisaborol, licorice root acid derivatives and allantoin soothe the skin while jojoba oil, macadamia nut oil, hyaluronic acid derivatives and marine collagen moisturize the skin. This BB Cream evens out your skin tone and does not change to a darker color over time. This product is good for all skin types.
 

My opinion: From all the BB cream samples I've got, this Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream is my favorite, just perfect for combination (normal to oily) skin! It's suitable for light skin tones although it is the darkest one from all the samples I received from Beauteque, probably because it does not have whitening properties like other Korean BB creams. It reminds me a lot of Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. It is so lightweight and hydrating and looks soooo natural on the skin, I am completely hooked! It doesn't look cakey at all and it doesn't emphasize my dry patches on my nose or the enlarged pores. The coverage is pretty good, it covers pores and imperfections pretty good and can be buildable. The downside I find is that it lacks SPF, just be sure to use a SPF cream underneath. I just want the full version especially that it's cheaper than the other two BB creams I tried, I love it and need it in my life!!!!!! That's why I love samples, I can find the best products!

5. Skin79 The Oriental Gold BB Cream Plus SPF30PA++
 

The BB cream gives you brighter and more shiny skin. This product can act as make-up base and foundation, and can correct your irregular skin tone naturally. Highly functional ingredients Oriental Tea Blending and Gold offer vitality and energy to dry and exhausted skin. It’s combination of 3 functions includes whitening, wrinkle improvement, and ultraviolet protection SPF30 PA++. 
 

My opinion: I will start by saying the most obvious qualities: Skin79 The Oriental Gold BB Cream it covers imperfections really well, offering a natural, shiny finish with even skin tone and wrinkles visibly reduced. It has a heavier texture than Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream and also has whitening properties, so if you are looking for such things this product is perfect. I suppose it comes in this shade only, my sample is suitable for light skin tones and it matches my skin perfectly. I think this one is especially good for dry, wrinkled skin.

6. Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream

The Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream protects the skin from both UVA and UVB rays with an SPF45. It has benefits that include brightening, whitening, moisturizing, softening, and helps with wrinkle improvement. The tri-functional snail BB Cream brightens the dark and dull skin tone, and maintains clean and supple skin with its whitening and wrinkle-improving effects. It contains 45% Korean Snail secretion Filtrate, which helps the skin by preventing skin damage, and keeps the skin moisturized and healthy by forming a protective layer. With its soft and moisturizing texture, it is easily absorbed into and blends well with the skin. It has anti-aging benefits and is especially recommended to those with a dry skin type. 
 

My opinion: It is a really good BB cream for dry skin, having a lighter texture than Skin79 The Oriental Gold BB Cream Plus but a little heavier than Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream. It blends easily, looks extremely natural on the skin and the shade is lighter and more luminous than the other two. If you have dry, dull, dehydrated skin and not major imperfections, this is a great choice cause it feels really moisturizing, whitening and brightening. Skin looks instantly fresher and younger! It has a nice scent and the big SPF is a major plus. 

These are the samples that I got and, as I said, I find these sample bags extremely, extremely useful because I can find the beauty products that suit me best. Why would I waste my money on products that my skin don't like? Test before you buy, girls! And Beauteque is a good choice cause they send lots of samples so you can take the right decision. That is how I found that my skin really needs Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream. Now I know what my next order from this shop will be!
