Today I will tell you my thoughts about The Balm Hot Mama “Sexy Shadow & Beautiful Blush All-In-One”.

Hearing that The Balm makes some quality paraben-free makeup products, two months ago I ordered The Balm Hot Mama because I only had one blush, a creamy one (MAC Cremeblend Something Special, you can read the review here) and needed a powder blush. After reading reviews on blogs I placed the order for Hot Mama, together with Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque (review here) and some gadgets for my husband.

Azi va voi spune parerea mea despre The Balm Hot Mama, un fard multifunctional pentru obraz si ochi. Afland ca The Balm produce produse de makeup de calitate fara parabeni, acum doua luni am comandat The Balm Hot Mama deoarece aveam un singur fard de obraz fard crema (MAC Cremeblend Something Special, puteti citi review aici) si aveam nevoie si de un fard pudra. Dupa ce am citit pareri pe bloguri, am comandat Hot Mama, mpreua cu Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque (puteti citi parerea mea aici) si cateva gadget-uri pentru sotul meu.

The package: I liked the package of Hot Mama from the very beginning: compact, made of cardboard (it reminds me of Benefit makeup), having a mirror but no applicator (keep this in mind if you want to buy it). It looks so cute and vintage, with a sexy lady in bikini somewhere at the beach.

Ambalajul: Mi-a placut ambalajul de prima oara cand l-am vazut: compact, cartonat (imi aduce aminte de fardurile Benefit), are si oglinda, dar nu are pensula pentru aplicat (tineti minte aspectul acesta daca vreti sa-l comandati si nu aveti pensula). Arata asa dragut si vintage, avand desenata o femeie in bikini, care se afla undeva pe o plaja.

The blush is a peach pink color, more peach than pink, with plenty of golden shimmer. The pigmentation is very good, you have to go very lightly with it especially if you are pale, so try to apply with a light hand. Can be used lightly as a golden highlighter.

Fardul are o nunata roz-piersica, mai mult piersica decat roz, cu mult shimmer. Este foarte pigmentat, asa ca trebuie sa fiti foarte atente cand il aplicati, in special daca aveti pielea mai deschisa la culoare, trebuie pus foarte putin pe pensula. Poate fi folosit ca si highlighter auriu, daca este aplicat usor.

What I think:

I like the quality of this blush, it is finely milled and it blends out easily. I also like the color, peachy color with golden shimmer but be aware that if you have enlarged pore it can emphasize them. I usually prefer Benefit Watt's Up (review here) as a highlighter to this, it is more subtle. But I like using it as a blush.

I also use it as an eye shadow and I like it, it goes well with my dark blue eyes and probably works great with every eye color.
But what I like most is the package, sooo cute, sleek and also has a mirror! It is perfect for traveling!

Parerea mea:

Calitatea fardului este una buna, este finut si se aplica usor pe fata. Imi place si culoarea, este nuanta piersicii cu stralucirii aurii, dar aveti grija ca poate scoate in evidenta porii dilatati, daca aveti asa ceva. Totusi, cand vreau sa folosesc un highlighter, prefer Benefit Watt's Up (puteti citi parerea mea aici) in locul lui Hot Mama, este mai subtil Watt's Up. Dar imi place sa folosesc TheBalm Hot Mama ca fard de obraz.

L-am incercat si pe pleoape si mi-a placut efectul, imi scoate in evidenta albastrul inchis al ochilor  si cred ca se potriveste tuturor culorilor de ochi.
Dar ce imi place cel mai mult este ambalajul, este asa dragut, compact si are si oglinda! Numai bun de purtat in geanta prin oras sau in calatorii.
