Mavala Bali #303 |
Mavala isn't a brand that
is blogged about a lot, but I heard about their nail polishes that
are good quality, so I picked one to test and review. The one I have
is Mavala Bali, part of their 2013 Chilli and Spice Collection which
consists of 6 new shades: Jaipur, Bomaka, Samarkand, Cuzco, Trinidad
and of course Bali.
After testing it, I really think this is an
underrated nail polish brand (meaning they are not well-known like
other brands are).
I chose Mavala Bali
because I wanted an opaque pink nail polish to match it to my
recently bought Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain (review here ).
Well, it's not similar, but it's pink. It is actually an elegant
brighter pink with a beautiful shine. I applied two coats (without
topcoat) and after having a bath and a lot of dish washing (and I
mean a lot!) it started to chip after the second day, I'm sure it
would have last at least one more day without so much work done, it
seems really long wearing. It is easy to apply and drying time is
fast.
Mavala Bali #303 |
Mavala
nail polishes come in half the size (5 ml.) of most typical nail
polish sizes, which I think is a plus cause I rarely go through a
whole nail polish.
The
Mavala formula is free of parabens, formaldeydes, tolune, camphore,
cellophane, animal products and heavy metal. They are made in
Switzerland.
As I said, I think Mavala
nail polishes are underrated and they are worth giving a try, they
are really good.
I purchased mine from a
pharmacy but you can buy it online as well (from Boots UK , price £4.50). And you can choose from a
large range of shades, not only Chilli and Spice Collection.
What do you think of
Mavala polishes? Have you tried them?

Calitate elvetiana: Lac de unghii Mavala Bali - opinie, poze
Mavala
Colectia cuprinde 6 nuante: Jaipur, Bomaka, Samarkand, Cuzco,
cu recent achizitionatul Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain (review aici).
Lacurile
Mavala nu contin parabeni, ftalati, formaldehide, ingrediente
de origine animala, metale grele. Sunt
fabricate in Elvetia.
Dupa
Chilli and Spices.
Ce
parere aveti de lacurile de unghii Mavala? Le-ati incercat?
