Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream-Stick

Vichy teamed up with Dermablend, a US brand, and created Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream-Stick, a full coverage foundation stick which contains 40% pigment concentration, destined to cover skin concerns such as dark circles, acne, scars, angiomas, vitiligo, bruising, redness, dark spots, etc. 

Vichy states that ”it has total coverage for up to 12 hours. No mask effect”.

Vichy Dermablend stick is available in 6 shades:

11 / Porcelain (pink-toned)

       12 / Opal (yellow/neutral-toned)

       13 / Light (yellow/neutral-toned)

       14 / Nude (yellow/peach-toned)

15 / Sand (pink/red-toned)

16 / Bronze (olive toned)

It comes in a 12 g. stick and has spf 30. Allergy tested and non-comedogenic. Fragrance-free, waterproof.

My opinion:

I have it in Opal shade and it is slightly paler than my skin (not much). It has a thick, creamy consistency and because of the high percentage of pigments contained therein (very high proportion), one layer applied on the skin being sufficient. For people with good skin this may be a little too heavy coverage. 

Vichy Dermablend stick gives an opaque, matte coverage, but I like to apply it with a wet sponge to get a sheer finish, as I don't need full coverage. Applied like this, it looks very natural if you don't have dry skin. If you do have dry skin, it will look flaky. I need to exfoliate my face from time to time, otherwise looks horrible. Especially during winter I have dry forehead and nose area, and no matter how much I moisturize, every foundation I use give an ugly finish if I don't exfoliate.

It is long lasting, but after couple of hours my forehead looks shiny.

If I wear it as an under eye concealer, it works very good, does not settle into fine lines (I don't use face powder) and has good coverage power. This is the reason I have bought this: to wear it as a concealer. But wearing it as a foundation is a bonus:).

As Vichy recommends, I apply Dermablend stick by warming it between fingers before blending onto my face.

Overall, I like it if my face is well moisturized and exfoliated, and I hate it if it's not.

Vichy s-a asociat cu brandul american Dermablend si a creat Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream-Stick, un fond de ten in forma de stick ce contine o concentratie de 40% pigment, destinat acoperirii imperfectiunilor pielii precum cearcane, acnee, cicatrici, angioame, vitiligo, rani, roseata, pete, etc.

Vichy pretinde ca “are acoperire totala ce dureaza pana la 12 ore. Nu are efect de masca”.

Vichy Dermablend stick este disponibil in 6 nuante:

Parerea mea:

Eu mi-am cumparat nuanta Opal si este putin mai deschisa decat pielea mea (nu mult). Are o consistenta densa, cremoasa si datorita procentajului mare de pigmenti din compozitia sa (procent foarte mare), este suficient un singur strat. Pentru persoanele cu piele fara probleme este putin cam mult sa foloseasca Vichy Dermablend stick.

Ofera o acoperire opaca, mata, dar eu il aplic cu un buretel umed pentru o acoperire mai slaba, deoarece nu am nevoie de mai mult. Aplicat in felul acesta arata foarte natural, daca pielea nu este uscata. Daca, intr-adevar, pielea este uscata, va arata incarcata/escuamata. Eu trebuie sa-mi exfoliez fata din timp in timp, altfel arata groaznic. In special pe timpul iernii am pielea de pe frunte si nas foarte uscata si, indiferent cat de multa crema as folosi, orice fond de ten folosesc imi da un look urat daca nu exfoliez.

Rezista bine pe fata dar dupa cateva ore fruntea devine lucioasa.

Daca il folosesc ca si anticearcan, isi face treaba foarte bine, nu se strange in riduri (nu folosesc pudra de fata) si are putere mare de acoperire.

Asa cum recomanda Vichy, aplic stick-ul Dermablend pe degete, frec degetele pentru a-l face incalzi putin, apoi il aplic pe fata.

In concluzie, sunt multumita de de el atunci cand piele este hidratata si exfoliata, dar il evit cand pielea este uscata.
